A Chair In Space
2015
Gypsum
56cm*180cm
The tiny Ming Dynasty chair, symbolizing the former status of Chinese traditional culture and former centralization, floats high above. It is in the progress of diminishing as antiquities by flowing down its substance to the ground through an expanding hole on the seat. Plaster hardens during the flowing process that results in a fragile form like the chair can probably break down in any time.
